
Moore maintains a private studio here on The Gulf Coast, in addition to a “web-based studio” online..Currently offering private lessons, masterclasses, workshops and chamber music coaching, he has worked with students of all ages and levels of ability from beginner to competition winner. Moore has been a "featured artist" as part of a “Gifted Teacher Series” for WMHT (PBS). He was also the founder/conductor of the Bard Cello Ensemble.
Master Classes at New York University, William Carey University, Loyola University and The Szamboltay Academy in Hungary have further demonstrated Moore's abilities and commitment to teaching and mentoring talent.
His faculty appointments at Bard College, SUNY Columbia Greene, The MAP Program at The Julliard School and the Harlem School of the Arts (Cello/Suzuki Strings) have provided a broad range of teaching experience.
Moore has also been an adjudicator for the Juilliard School of Music (Pre-College Division); the New York State Council of the Arts; the Chamber Music America Residency Grant Program, and the Virtuosi of New York Scholarship Fund.
Having completed undergraduate and graduate studies at Stanford University, Mr. Moore also received an Artist Certificate from the Hautes Etudes Musicales in Switzerland. He studied with Marilyyne Blanc, Colin Hampton, Margaret Rowell, Bonnie Hampton, Dimitri Markevitch, Kermit Moore and Paul Tortelier.
