Professional Teaching Engagements include: Bard College, SUNY Columbia Greene, The Julliard School and the Harlem School of the Arts. Moore has offered private lessons, workshops/masterclasses, and coaching/mentoring to chamber music students. He is also the founder of the Bard Cello Ensemble and also maintains private studios on the Gulf Coast, for New orleans to Biloxi/Ocean Springs and in the Hudson Valley/Capitol Region of New York. His students, who range in age from 6 to 66, are exposed to a broad range of teaching pedagodgy and styles.

Having completed undergraduate and graduate studies at Stanford University, Mr. Moore also received an Artist Certificate from the Hautes Etudes Musicales in Switzerland. He studied with Colin Hampton, Margaret Rowell, Bonnie Hampton, Dimitri Markevitch, Kermit Moore and Paul Tortelier.

 

Moore has been an adjudicator at the Juilliard School of Music (Pre College Division); the New York State Council of the Arts; the Chamber Music America Residency Grant Program, and the Virtuosi of New York Scholarship Fund.
